Data does not display on the map, but present in the attribute table

I am facing issues with geocoding point features from an excel sheet that contains the X and Y coordinates. I am successfully able to create the event layer from the spreadsheet. However, whenever I am trying to save the event layer (that is temporarily created while geocoding the points) as a shapefile, it does not display on the map. However, the attribute table shows that the data has correctly been exported to the shapefile. If it is so, then why am I not able to see the points in shapefile on the map? Please help. Thanks!

Could it be a projection issue where the points exist they just aren't in the extent you are looking at?

I do not think so. I tried with zoom to layer. Also, when the events layer gets created, the points are shown in the map, but there is no data in the attribute table. It is just the opposite to the shapefile issue.

If you can share some (not all) of the data, that is helpful for others.

Here is my .csv file and the same file in the excel format. The two columns "Latitude and Longitude" are of the X and Y coordinates.

No longitude or latitude coordinates in either file.

What column were/are they supposed to be in?

Columns titled as "Latitude" and "Longitude".

I meant the Letter... they don't open with the excel column names replaced.

You mean, you dont see them in the .xlsx version? How about the .csv format?
