Explorer for ArcGIS Offline Maps

Rather than using mobile map packages to take data offline, is there a way to use the same workflow as Collector where you simply choose the area of interest and data is dynamically taken offline?

Great question Finnian!

Later this year we will be adding new offline capabilities to Explorer. Both the adhoc download of map areas that you are familiar within in Collector but also the new pre-planned offline map areas that are coming within the Aurora Project. We will have a beta program this fall where you can test these new capabilities.

Hello Jeff- Any progress on this? Current "Explorer for ArcGIS" v18.1.2 Build 2379 has yet to support similar offline workflows. Is there an idea I can vote to promote?
