Update values stored in geodatabase

I do not know if this is the right forum for this. But it is very much related to Survey123 for ArcGIS.

We use a Trimble product called Land Resource Manager (LRM) for operational planning. The system uses ArcGIS as the spatial component and stores information in an enterprise geodatabase (feature classes, feature datasets, related tables, etc.).In ArcCatalog, the information contained in a related table that are spatial are just normal attributes of the feature class.

One of the tables in LRM is where we would like to make regular updates using data collected in a Survey123 app. We will then want to upload the information from the app into LRM.

What would be the best way to achieve this without breaking LRM? ie what format? (csv?) via DTM? via batch job? We would not want to manually import the data.

Thanks for any idea/s on this.

Hi Dionisio,

It is possible to have Survey123 work with your existing geodatabase.  Take a look at https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2017/09/25/working-with-existing-feature-services-i... and Use Survey123 with existing feature services—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS. To update existing records, use the Inbox capability - Prepare for editing existing survey data—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS
