I spend more time trying to contact ESRI support because I constantly have to Authorize my ArcGIS Pro single use license. All the other GIS software platforms I use just require a machine locked ID and I'm done. ESRI's licensing sucks, as usual.

Who handles your licensing ? You? The link provides a discussion and change options. But I suspect that you have gone through this with tech support before.
Technically I can't help since I must have "automagic" updates with respect to software licensing through our organization
