Hello, I am trying to calculate drainage density per 1m2 from a shapefile of flow pathways. This would mean length of flow path per pixel (1m2). I have considered line density function and zonal statistics but no luck. Any suggestions very welcome!
Does that mean errors? or numbers that you weren't expecting?
Where does the pixel element come from? you indicate a shapefile but nothing else specifically

The output from line density and zonal statistics has not given me the output I wanted, which is the length of line per unit area, in this case this is 1m2. The shapefile is a stream-to-feature shapefile created from the stream order tool. The pixel element is the resolution I would like to measure the length per unit at, apologies this was not clear before with the terms used.

From what I understand line density uses a radius to calculate the line density and an individual pixel. But I may be wrong here...?
How line density works...
So you can vary your analysis by considering your desired cell size, then multiply that by the square root of 2 (to account for diagonal distance). I suspect the results are going to be similar, varying only by root 2 of density
