We just got Portal up and running. How would we go about customizing the look of Portal, beyond the home page and throughout the Portal? I saw this but it looks like it only pertains to the home page /blogs/baldy/2017/07/24/beautify-that-homepage-creating-a-unique-look-and-feel

The one thing I would take a look at is this app: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=bcc471b7ba6d4819848a674cde1fa381

The link is for the Minimal Gallery App and it's been a really helpful way to create user specific content directories. The Minimal Gallery is basically creating a curated view of content that is shared to a group. You could have a user landing at the Portal landing page and then launching the Minimal Gallery that fits their need. In this way, you could control the style through both experiences. Hopefully that makes sense.

Daniel,

I was going to steer you to the blog... but too late. To answer your question really directly, there are no other ways to configure/customize the backend of Portal (groups page, admin. page, etc.).

Before I start launching into a list of ideas/solutions...

What specifically are you trying to accomplish?

I'd just like to make any changes that I make to the home page, such as background and toolbar colors, consistent throughout the portal.
