Setting Expiry Cache Settings for Web AppBuilder

Question asked by pmckinneyccpa on Jun 25, 2018

I'm going to ask a question that I've heard other people who develop Web AppBuilder apps face:  What is the best way to get users to pull in fresh files when you've pushed out a new version of your app?

I know with Apache servers and IIS, there are expiry settings you can set through htaccess or other methods.  However, can some code be added to one of the files included with WAB (maybe the web config?) to set a very low expiry setting (like 1 hour?) so that people can pull in the new files without having to clear their browser's cache?
