Bad character encoding from the World Routing Service.

Question asked by jhale@geodecisions.com on Jun 22, 2018

I've run into an issue with the World Routing Service. The character 'á' isn't encoding properly in the solve result. It's coming back as garbage in the returned stop and the turn by turn directions causing the stop and route to display as 'undefined'. All other latin characters seem to be encoding and displaying properly. As far as we can tell this has only started occuring in the last week. Anyone else notice this? Any thoughts?

Here's a snippet from the resulting JSON: "routeName":"Tucson,Arizona_1000 - Calle Jardn del Centenario,Jurez,Chihuahua,32618_1001"
