Does anyone have any experience of using a dynamic photo gallery as part of the main stage of story map?

Im using a Story Map Series - Tabbed version and would love to be able to have the main stage of a page showing a selection of images in a gallery form i.e. it carousels through the images.

I'm currently using an embedded flickr gallery but some where on the flick side it is adding a massive white border around the gallery and no editing of the iframe text corrects it.

See the 'Demolition' tab at https://hambletondc.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=ce1c9cfae7ac48b09d8a269180c387e2

Has anyone else managed to achieve anything similar successfully?

Any other ideas of free hosting sites as apposed to Flickr that have been successfully used?

TIA

Hi Laura -- The US Forest Service made a few stories (like this one and this one) where they used a JavaScript library called Slideshowify. You'd need to build the slideshow using that library, host the images and code on your own web server, and then embed the slideshow as a "web page" type media in your story map.

If you use Flickr to store your images, you can also try adding a Flickr gallery as described here.

Hope this is helpful.
