I'm trying to develop a tool in CityEngine that would generate a number of different building iterations for a parcel using Floor Area Ratio as a generative parameter. The variables would be width, depth, and number of stories with parcel area remaining constant. Ultimately, I would like to alter footprint configuration to include L-shape, U-shape, T-shape, O-shape, etc. buildings to increase the diversity of options. Is anyone aware of examples of genetic algorithms in CityEngine or how they might be implemented?
