iframed application doesn't work in chrome. Works fine in edge and firefox

Question asked by kaushivijay on May 15, 2018

Web app builder application with custom development is hosted on a windows server.

Uses portal services that are secured (ADFS/SAML).

The app is usually displayed in an iframe.

Works alright on EDGE. But randomly displays a white screen in Chrome.

It has the e-frame-options error in the console log.

Refused to display '*************9ca9df6c4fa%26extentprops%3Dhttps%3A//' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'.

this happens only randomly. I'm not sure what would actually make the application to go to the portal/home/signin.html

I'm facing this issue only in chrome but not in firefox or edge
