I am trying to calculate shoreline change analysis for a barrier island on GIS. I have produced a number of vector shorelines based on Landsat satellite imagery and have also constructed an offshore baseline. After I have used the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) GIS extension toolbar to cast transects, I attempt to calculate the statistics however after I click 'calculate' two things happen:
1. An 'unexpected error' appears and tells me to check the log file.
2. Another error appears after I close the first stating that 'mclmcrrt78.dll is missing in my computer and to reinstall it.'
From googling, I think this has something to do with the MatLab Runtime Component Utility however I have both the Matlab normal application as well as the installed Utility.
Does anyone have any idea why I cannot proceed to calculate the rates of change?
The computer I operate ArcGIS on is a University campus one so I am unsure whether this may be involved in the error.
Thanks.
