How do I transfer an ArcGIS license from a stolen computer to a new computer?

My laptop was stolen out of a vehicle yesterday and ArcGIS for desktop was installed with a year long student license provided by the university that I attend. Is there a way to somehow cancel the license for that computer and transfer the license to a new one so that I can download the software for further use?

You will have an account administrator at your university.  They should be the first person that you contact since they can reissue new access.  They are also the individuals that have permissions to contact esri regarding issues surrounding licences associated with educational institutions.  The instructor of your course should know who this is if they are not the person... or contact your library (they often manage this) or your IT people.
