I am having problems using the topology wizard in ArcGIS Pro 2.1.2. Testing data in class we can create and validate topology using geoprocessing tools, but are unable to validate topology using the wizard. This process works with no problem in ArcGIS for Desktop. Pro creates the topology feature but it is empty and we get an error during topology creation. Thoughts?
This probably got ignored, since it was posed as a discussion rather than a question....
anyway... from here... http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/get-started/release-notes.htm
way at the bottom
When using the Topology wizard to create a new topology, if the input dataset and feature class are stored in an enterprise geodatabase, and have been newly created in the same session of ArcGIS Pro, the new empty topology dataset may become corrupted. A workaround for this issue is to remove the feature class from the map, or close and re-open ArcGIS Pro before using the topology wizard (or when running the Add Feature Class to Topology tool) to create a new topology.
per chance does this apply?
