I have to copy my 9 mxd file from a file gdb to another file gdb for further analysis. I can do it manually by copying and pasting but I need to do it using modelbuilder or script tool. Can anybody help#?
MXDs are Map Documents. They are not stored in a File Geodatabase.
Are you indicating copying of data from one file geodatabase to another file gdb?

To add on to what Asrujit mentioned. The MXD is only a set of instructions on how to display the data that is stored in a database or shape files.
All 9 of your MXD's could be looking at the identical exact same data.
Yes, but each with some differences in map elements- title, date, field used for analysis. Each need some manual changes before running idw and displaying new result. I am imploring for the use of script tool for complete automation.
As I needed to do it model-builder copy and rename tools both worked for it.
