I am using the locate service in Arc GIS Pro by typing in addresses, the geocoder places a location at the proper place on the map. Is there a way to save these searches to a point file?
Currently, I do not think there is but this should certainly be a capability
Unfortunately, there is no straight forward way of adding the search results from the Locate pane to a feature class like you can in ArcMap by just converting graphics on the map to a feature class. In ArcGIS Pro you would have to Insert a Map Note, which creates a layer in the project file geodatabase. Then start editing the point layer of the map note and use the steps described here. Add geocoded point to an existing feature class—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop . Feel free to post on the Ideas thread.
Shana is of course correct, but I did a couple of samples along these lines:
Do vote the idea mentioned up though so it gets into the product.
