ArcGIS Pro 2.1.2 and earlier versions have problems after Georeferencing an image.

Question asked by njbarger on Mar 15, 2018

I have been doing a lot of Georeferencing of plans.  It seems there is a problem within ArcGIS Pro where things start to behave poorly.  I've had my Measure and Edit tools stopping snapping to features even though they are set to do so.  The only thing that would snap was if I edited the vertices of a feature...then it would snap.

I have my bearing and distance tool shoot lines in the wrong direction.  In one instance I was plotting a deed and the bearing and distance was S85E 1366ft.  If I place the pointer anywhere in a western direction and type in those coordinates it shoots a line in with the opposite coordinates that I entered.  So, it placed my line at N85W.  However, If I place my cursor in the eastern direction then it works correctly.

I also have numerous ArcGIS Pro crashes during image georeferencing.  The only thing that kind of works it to periodically clear my display cache.

Has anyone else experienced similar behavior?
