Route Service: In asynchronous mode, the maximum number of stops is 10,000 and the maximum number of stops per route is 150

Question asked by terracom on Mar 6, 2018

Hello,

I am relatively new to Arc and routing so please bear with me

I am trying to route a list of 800 addresses.  I submitted an asynchronous job and the status came back as:

jobStatus":"esriJobFailed","messages":[{"type":"esriJobMessageTypeInformative","description":"Submitted."},{"type":"esriJobMessageTypeInformative","description":"Executing..."},{"type":"esriJobMessageTypeError","description":"A geoprocessing error occurred."},{"type":"esriJobMessageTypeError","description":"ERROR 030135: The maximum stops per route value for route 'None', 800, is greater than the maximum allowed, 150."}

I do not understand what the documentation means when it says "In asynchronous mode, the maximum number of stops is 10,000 and the maximum number of stops per route is 150".   How then, would I route 800 addresses as one route?   Not possible?

thanks,

Ed
