How to shift from SQL Express database server to Microsoft SQL Standard?

My organization has GIS data stored in Microsoft SQL Express databases, currently.  Some of our databases are approaching the 10 GB size limit imposed by SQL Express.  We have Microsoft SQL Server Standard licenses, as well as ArcGIS Enterprise licenses, and we would like to upgrade the SQL Express databases to Standard for unlimited storage capacity.

However, my understanding is that it will not work if I simply attach the databases to a SQL Server Standard instance.  Our users' maps all pull data from the SQL Express "Database Server", but the database server in ArcGIS seems to only be for SQL Express databases.  If I upgrade to SQL Server Standard, how do I connect to the data?  Do I have to enter a separate database connection for each database, or is there a way to see all our databases on the server like I can currently do with SQL Express?
