Hi there!

I need help with a technical issue. I am working on a project I accessed through a Portal. In order to manipulate an attribute table from a layer (add a field), I was told to store or export the project locally. If I want to add a field to my attribute table, it's greyed out at the moment. How do I get the project in a state so it will let me manipulate the fields? Does this have to do with folder connections? Moreover, I am new to Windows, so I have a hard time understanding what it means when files are stored in OneDrive/Document/ArcGis/Projects..., or what's the difference when I save a project on Windows (C:)/randomfolder... Also, there are either green checkmarks or blue 'refresh-like' arrows on various folders in the OneDrive-path. What does that all imply?

Thanks for your help!
