Editing a related table through a feature service prevents user from any further edits.

Question asked by leigh.vershowske on Feb 12, 2018

Using ArcGIS Server 10.2.2, I have a feature service setup to be used in Collector. The service contains several feature classes, each of which has attachments enabled. A few of the feature classes have separate related tables (via relationship class) for capturing other information. We have noticed that when editing one of those related tables, the user cannot update again until the service is restarted. However, if the user does not update a related table, they are fine. We have noticed some unusual locking activity on our database (Oracle 12.1). Any help troubleshooting would be grateful!
