OSM update

Question asked by goyanthlay on Dec 27, 2017
Hello,
I would like to write a script that will update the OSM (Open Street Map) data in the ESRI geodatabase.
Using the ArcPy library, I wrote a piece of simple code that removes data from the table in existing OSM data sets:
import arcpy
arcpy.env.workspace = (r"D:/DATA/osm.gdb")
listFeature = arcpy.ListFeatureClasses()
for feature in listFeature:
desc = arcpy.Describe(feature)
arcpy.TruncateTable_management(feature)
print ("feature class " + desc.name + " has been truncated")

Now I would like to write a nest part of code that will import data from feature classes from directoryy into the corresponding object classes in the geodatabase.
The names of the downloaded OSM object classes in directory and feature classes in the geodatabase are the same.
Do you have any idea how to do it? I will be grateful for your help.
