ArcScene 10.5.0 will not open

Since upgrading to 10.5.0, I have been unable to open ArcScene.  The spash screen comes, up sits for a few seconds and then the error window pops up and ArcScene closes.  I have tried upgrading to 5.1 with the same issue.  10.4 works fine.

(running Windows 10) all other Desktop programs open and run fine.

all fixed....changed the "Normal.sxt" to "normal.sxt.old"  and left the software regenerate the normal.sxt file
