I'm getting this error, Search URL Field Required, Included Fields is Empty with Enhanced Search

   Wow, you are still using Flex. ESRI have discontinued support for Flex Viewer several years ago.


Why are you using an IP and port number? Does that url bring up the rest service directory if you paste it into your browsers address bar?

I'm not using Flex viewer (pick the wrong category when posting) this is

widget in Webapp builder. This is for my GIS 550 at NCSU.

Why are you using an IP and port number? My professor example Does that url

bring up the rest service directory if you paste it into your browsers

address bar? yes here's his example

   So do you know if you have Web Adaptor installed on that server?

I thought it might be an issue with using the IP and port number but I just tested one of mine that way and had no issue.

Yes we have web adaptor loaded.

I notice that in your error you are using the internal ip address for the ArcServer rest endpoint whereas in the example your professor uses that looks like the external web adaptor address.  I never use a direct internal ArcServer address for my eSeache's sources
