Field Tablet Recommendations

I am looking into getting tablets to use in the field. I see a couple older posts about it but I was wondering if anyone had any newer recommendations. I was looking into some Xplore tablets and the IPad of course. I am looking to run ArcPad and perhaps AutoCAD, maybe even some ESRI desktop products. This is in the infant stages, just wanted to get some ideas. Thanks in advance for the help.

Wow no recommendations?

How about Surface Book, tons of power and long batter life and it works as a laptop and/or tablet.  For protection, I keep it in a Chevy Silverado
