Data Driven Pages Export Script  Using Standard License

Question asked by cdevault1 on Oct 12, 2017

I am running a scrip that exports data driven pages to a PDF using a name from feature attributes. I am running it on a spare computer which is set to have a Basic license. However I try to open ArcMap on my main computer which has a standard license it says that all Standard licenses are used. The license server says that my user on the spare computer is actually using a Standard license instead of the Basic that it says it is set to in ArcGIS Administrator. My script is below. Any ideas?

import arcpy
import os

mxd = arcpy.mapping.MapDocument(r"\\VRTX-GLTN598\Script$\CLR - SPCC Reformat\!GIS Data Driven Pages\A2.mxd")

for pageNum in range(1, mxd.dataDrivenPages.pageCount + 1):
    mxd.dataDrivenPages.currentPageID = pageNum
    arcpy.AddMessage("Exporting PDF Map " + str(pageNum) + " of " + str(mxd.dataDrivenPages.pageCount))
    print "Exporting PDF Map " + str(pageNum) + " of " + str(mxd.dataDrivenPages.pageCount)
    pageName = mxd.dataDrivenPages.pageRow.Folder_Name
    arcpy.mapping.ExportToPDF(mxd, r"\\VRTX-GLTN598\Script$\CLR - SPCC Reformat" + os.sep + pageName + os.sep + pageName + "_A2.pdf")
    print "Saved " + pageName + "_A2.pdf!"
