Is there a method to read a named page size, not just the width/height?

I'm wanting to see whether there is a method to return a named page size, or even the other properties such as landscape/portrait, or measurement units. What I mean by "named" is returning a predefined name. A4, Letter, D, etc.

The example below shows how when using Arcmap 10.5 we can set the page size using arcpyproduction. Ideally I'd like to find a way to return these values to me in a variable(s) that I can interrogate. I unfortunately only have access to ArcMap 10.3, if that matters.

From: SetPageSize—Help | ArcGIS Desktop

import arcpy, arcpyproduction

mxd = arcpy.mapping.MapDocument("CURRENT")

arcpyproduction.mapping.SetPageSize(mxd, "LETTER", page_units="CENTIMETERS")

My current solution involves returning page width and heights in arcpy, but working with those numbers is a pain and involves some number gymnastics to get consistent results.
