Hi guys, I have a question that you might be able to help me with.

Basically I have 2 sets of data (both polygons) I want to be able to join 1 dataset to the other based on area.

I think the image I made here will illustrate my point the best

My primary data set (Yellow polygon) and the second data set (the other colors). I want to be able to simply make one join to my yellow polygon based on the polygon with the greatest area (so in this case the green shape). The green red and blue polygon is its own data set.

Is there a simply way to do this join based on greatest area?

I hope i explained this clearly :-) It seems straight forward to me but I cant seem to do the join based on largest intersecting area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
