I am a Civil Engineer / CAD Designer with 25 years experience and would like to further my education with a Masters in the "GIS" sciences.  In researching degree programs, universities, etc., I notice that there are a ton of marketing buzzwords such as Intelligence Analytics, Geodesign, Remote Sensing, etc., and have to wonder what a good GIS program should really include for it to have value.  Does anyone have ideas on this subject, recommendations of public Universities, or comments regarding online programs if they are respected in the industry?  Thanks in advance for your comments.
