I am attempting to simulate traditional trails and I need to do a least cost path. Pretty much I have a series of points around the edge of my project area spread 5 km apart. What I want to do is calculate a path from each of these points e.g. a-b,a-c,a-d, b-a, b-c, b-d etc. I am using slope as my friction (its just a basic cost path). When I put in my point file rarely does it come up with any consistant path. Does anyone know how I might do this effectively?
