I've been working with our company's IT support firm as well as ESRI support on this issue for a number of months. ArcMap becomes unresponsive and crashes while I am using it multiple times a day. I have inspected the Event Logs and found that the crash is always accompanied by a Group Policy Update and Group printer update (I can post the logs if you want).
My IT support firm is struggling to alter the Group Policy for my machine so Arc doesn't crash. Can anyone here with similar experience explain to them what they need to do. Sorry - I speak limited IT but will forward on what they need to know.
