Moving misplaced data points in a crowd-sourced storymap

I've created a crowd-sourced story-map for my kids to post Christmas photos into... the problem is that some of the photos/data points were placed in the wrong location. I've tried to move them in the map file by opening the data table and changing the location address but the data  point doesn't seem to move. Should it or do we need to delete these data points?

The address field in the data table only gets saved as text so the app can display it to the viewers. The location is determined from the feature geometry saved in the feature service (not displayed in data table). If you open the layer item details page; click the "Open in Map Viewer" dropdown arrow then click "Open layer in new map with full editing control." Then click the feature you want to change, click "Edit", then drag the point to the correct location.
