Why is Survey123 for ArcGIS a members only group?

The Survey123 for ArcGIS‌ is listed as a members only group. Why is this group given that classification while other Esri application groups (Collector for ArcGIS‌ for example) are public groups?

When the Survey123 group was created it was in it's early release/beta period, so it was not fully open. Now that it is one of the more active places on GeoNet, we have been reviewing the group's strategy. We will be making changes to the group stricture and layout over the next week.
