Is there a way to set the "keepAppState" to "true" as a default but then set the

"keepAppState" to "false" when performing a URL search with the eSearch Widget?

The eSearch Widget will fail "no results" if "keepAppState" is set to "true"

Thank You

Rich

Rich,

Could you expound on this a little? Are you saying that using the eSearch URL search and then clicking on the popup that asking about restoring the apps state causes you issues?

Yes, if I use this string with the keepAppState set to false it works great

http://gisapp.mahoningcountyoh.gov/MAHGIS/index.html?esearch=53-057-0-197.00-0&slayer=0&exprnum=0

but if I set the keepAppState set to true it fails.

Is there be a way to disregard the keepAppState until the eSearch widget completes the search, otherwise the keepAppState setting is of no value

Rich,

Are you making code modifications to set the keepAppState by default?

I have not

I only set it in the config file as false or true

Rich,

I have tested on my eSearch Live Preview site and on my dev machine and I can find to conflict between the eSearch URL search parameter and the keep app state...
