We are receiving a TAIP feed from our AVL vendor, however using the TAIP connector we are not getting the ID of the vehicle that they are sending.  This is the UDP packet we receive from the vendor:

>RPV56253+3580255-0785151907317790;ID=1179;*79<

What we need to get is the ID, which is 1179 for this vehicle.  What would be the best way to get this ID using the TAIP connector.  Or would I need to make modifications to the code of the connector in order to get this.

Below is what is coming from the connector using the default GeoEvent definition:

TAIP0xF0,23.101.176.153:16436,2016-05-04T10:35:21.000-04:00,"-78.5608,35.83995",8,58,9,0

Hi Justin,

We just released a new version of the Trimble TAIP Connector for GeoEvent yesterday for versions 10.3.x and 10.4.x that adds this capability.  The ID field will now be added to all GeoEvent Definitions and will be populated.

Download the updated connector at: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=8513241a8c9445339d108185642f7af9

Thanks,

Greg

Thanks for the quick response.  Amazing how it was addressed the day I encountered the issue.
