Hi Patrick. I'm not sure what accounts for that difference. May just be the system catching up. For example the item page gives you a more recent view count than the ArcGIS Online search results listing. Plus when you look at an ArcGIS Online item page to see the number of views, that actually adds a view to the count (so it is a bit like the Observer Effect in Physics).
Note that the ArcGIS Online item page, also has a usage button that gives you a usage chart (if you are the owner) (not present if you are using ArcGIS Public Account).
