Topology Line is Generalized

Question asked by Marina81 on Apr 13, 2016

Hi All,

I recently upgraded to ArcGIS 10.4.for Desktop.

I am trying to use Map Topology (note: not geodatabase topology) to edit the shared boundaries in a polygon shapefile. When selecting the shared boundaries, the magenta line highlighting the shared boundary does not follow the polygon boundary but appears to be a generalization of it (see image attached).

This problem must be related to a setting in ArcMap since viewing the same data on a colleague's PC works as expected. i.e. the magenta line follows the polygon boundary line perfectly.

Do you perhaps know what the problem/setting is please?

Thank you
