Is there a method to retrieve the current layout view name?

I am attempting to update a script for ArcPro. The script fills out a text box with a footer containing the file location of the project. I was able to develop the script to update for all layouts in the project, but I am not seeing a method of calling only the "current" or "active" layout.

I am assuming that you are familiar with the new incarnation of arcpy.mapping to arcpy.mp

almost forgot this one

Yes I have read through those documents. They do not list a method to acquire the current or active layout.

according to the image showing the interrelations

get the aprx, listlayouts ... current is used for the project

see the 2nd code example here

I presume that if there isn't a 'current' layout it is not yet available, not by design, or forgotten
