How do I edit or delete a post in a community?
If you're not already in the "thread" view, click on the message title from the community in which it was posted, and at that point you should see "Actions" options on your content, including "Edit" and "Delete".
If you are the owner of the post then you should be able to see this:
and use the edit to make your changes.
If you are not the owner of the post but want to edit or delete a reply - is this possible? When you click on Actions nothing is in the drop down menu.
Nothing will display unless you are signed in.
You can't edit others' messages. You can flag content (if you're logged in).
if you are not the owner of the reply/post and you are not a moderator for that space then no you can not edit or delete the post/reply
I am not the owner of the Original Post. However I am logged in and I am the owner of said "Reply" that I would like to Edit. I just posted a second reply below my original to restate my original reply.
Thanks for the feed back. I was able to delete the 2nd post and edit the first. I must have been a refresh issue with my browser.
That context menu isn't available on all views of the message, so I click on the message title first.
