CAn't get geoEvents out of debug mode under logs

So I was seeing an error in the geoEvent logs and I set the logging to debug. After I was done with the need for it to be in debug, I went into settings and set it back to ERROR for ROOT, it says Log settings successfully saved. Logging level set to ERROR for ROOT. But all that keeps getting logged is DEBUG. And it's filling up the server. Does anyone know if there is xml file or something that I can make the change in so it sticks???
