One of my publish maps is showing on our network as all the other maps but not vissible to the public in other PCs. what might be the problem?
Is the map not accessible or do the underlying layers not show? In that case you may be referencing data from a local server not exposed outside your organization.
If this is not the case can you elaborate a little more?
Thanks, Bakker. The map itself and the layers are not accessible only on that service. This particular share-service published map was accessible to the Public until last Friday when a consumer of the service alerted me that the map couldn't be opened. At the same time it was accessible to me at the office. Unfortunately when I checked with my IPad, it couldn't opened either. I tried my personal PC at home and that didn't work too. All the other service maps on the same Server are functioning well (both for the Public and the organisation), as I write to you now.
Have you tried restarting the service? And ensure there is no private role settings on the service set. I do know 10.2.2 (cant recall SP/Patches) had odd behaviors of having private setting put in place with no Roles. Required Server Manager to change Service back to Public or restart the service.
If you already have...Which Version / Patches are you running for ArcGIS Server.
Hi Mike, I am using ArcGIS-1031-S-GGM-Patch.msp. The problem is; only one published service map is not visible to the Public, and even not all the time. It does appear to the Public sometimes but vanishes just likethat.
Next step would be to look through the log files... what is going on there?
