About 20-30% of the time when attempting to download or sync an offline map using an iPad it fails and says "Cocoa Error 500".  The server log also shows two messages.  "Invalid xml registry file: c:\program files\arcgis\server\bin\XmlSupport.dat" and "Unable to instantiate class for xml schema type: ArrayOfGPToolInfo".  I can't find any information on these specific errors online and am wondering if anyone else has experienced this.  If the problem is the invalid xml registry file how would I fix that?

Thanks for any insight!!!

Emily

I found this post Large ArcGIS Server 'Site': stability issues  might help you.

Emily,

I am receiving the same error message.  Did you ever get this figured out?

Thanks!

Zhang Miaogeng's post seems strange, but he is right.

The problem is a low-resource problem. Reboot AGS and it should be OK (until memory be full – and that's another problem)
