Update a self-hosted story map

I have a self-hosted map tour story map that I created last winter by downloading and editing the template. That story map has a presence here:
http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=a7aedb46e18e4b3183783e3618606acb

And it actually lives here:  http://gis.ashland.or.us/LithiaHistoric/

I have created an update to this story map that includes more photos and information, and this time I used the builder, although I am still self-hosting. That story map currently lives here:

http://gis.ashland.or.us/LithiaHistoric2.0/

reference:  id=ca84ed0e9fab473e838a3f07eb32695a

(the images do not work by design, but will soon)

My question: Is it possible to swap in the new one by just renaming the file reference (i.e. delete the 2.0, and just call it LithiaHistoric)? A quick switcheroo behind the scenes? Is it possible to retain the "wrapper" indicated in my first file reference above, the piece that describes the contents? Or do I have to recreate it now that I have a 'registered' web app?

Thanks for help. I am confused as to what will happen and I do not want to ruin my initial work by just doing this.
