Using field calculator (with vbscript) in a model, then exporting it as a python script

Let me start off by making it clear that I am not a strong python person...

I built a model in ModelBuilder and in one step I'm using field calculator to change some attribute data around.  In the field calculator, I chose to use vbscript instead of python (again, because I know vbscript and not python).  When I run the model, everything works.  When I export the model to a python script (so that I can run it as a scheduled task), the script errors out because it can't interpret the vbscript.

I know there are ways to run SQL commands (against an enterprise GDB for example) in a python script, but how do you do this for vbscript?  Is it even possible?
