Dear all:

Using the “compare” web app, I face the following problem:

To build a complex map symbol, a load different external image files. This usually works fine. You can see here one of the maps with the symbols mentioned:

http://speck.conabio.gob.mx/manglarfotos/NAY/costa/index.html

However, there is a map where the external symbols not show. I can see them in ArcGIS online, but when a open the according web app, the symbols don´t load. This is the map:

Any hints?

Thank you & best regards

Flo

Looks like you load the following three web maps.

    "webmap": "5438c8343d664668a346cd745b426fde",

    "webmaps": ["128d5f83bb8741f480e2ccf826d51eba","83daef769b2f48fab5db210c8f1ebb9f"],

I created a test app using your maps and it works for me with a hosted version of the template.

http://www.arcgis.com/apps/CompareAnalysis/index.html?appid=c149cc8020984f6f988c3be3f8b24547

Perhaps try updating your locally hosted version of the app to have the latest code - currently it looks like you are using an older version.

Flo,

   This question does not seem to be Web AppBuilder related so I am going to move it to the ArcGIS API for JavaScript space
