Hi, i'm new bee to GeoEvent Processor, I created a small project where I followed the below listed steps.
Every thing works fine as I could get the Mail response.
My concern is, I want to push data directly from RDBMS to an input connector instead of using a web service.
If possible please let me know how can I achieve the same.
S.,
Are you looking for a 'live' mapping solution without GeoEvent?
Hi Larry thank you for quick reply,
My data is fed to Oracle database which comes from multiples sensors.
So, I want a way to add Oracle database as an input connector, by which i can map the events.
Sound nice idea.
It looks to me that ESRI GeoEvent does not directly map 'live' data in RDBMS like Oracle. However, some of the recommendations from ESRI are offered for reference. Pls refer to GeoEvent process Oracle/SQL connector

In fact, some of the massive oil producing data (i.e., streaming into Oracle database from massive live sensors in the oil fields) could be mapped in this way, while analyzing big data ...
Hi Larry Thanks for that,
I did the same using .Net technology.
Here is the screenshot, which depects the basic workflow
What I'm looking is some thing shown below.
Just want to confirm whether can we achieve that.
But according to RJ Sunderman is not possible I guess.
Without some hard coding effort, it would be challenging, mostly!
However, we may look for a third-party or request Oracle building a bridge (saying, GeoEvent for Oracle). One of the reasons is: ESRI is trying to keep GeoEvent database-independent...
What do you think of it?
Yeah!, but i wanna stick to ESRI ..
nice to conduct ESRI GE team for this...
please update any progress...
