Features getting misaligned when uploaded to ArcGIS online

I have a feature class that I want to upload to ArcGIS online as a feature service. In ArcMap the shapes seem to be correctly aligned with an OSM basemap. But when I upload this same feature class to ArcGIS online and view the shapes on an OSM basemap they seem to be completely misaligned. How is this possible? What should I do to align them properly with the basemap?

Hi Salman,

Instead of uploading the feature classes to My Contents in ArcGIS Online, you could publish the map from ArcMap with Feature Access capability.

Sign-in to ArcGIS Online from Arcmap (File > sign-in). Then, File > Share as > Services.

Are the features still misaligned?
