Did I do something wrong here: https://community.esri.com/videos/2404#comment-11440
Yes, we are working on this. The Jive community platform does not currently accept our video hosting site. It is expected behavior.
it's so tempting to mark that as the correct answer
Probably becuase the videos were initially created before this forum , how shall I say this, degraded to a facebook like funciton and feel.
The forum was different and they changed it up over a year ago to what we see now.
The video he is linking to is from March 2015. The corrected link works (someone else posted), just not the one embedded in his thread.
(on another note: Tom, thanks for starting the link to the video....I'm planning on watching later today, since I missed the Dev Summit. It's nice that most sessions are available!)
There's so much information in there, and so little time for them to fit it all in. I'm not a developer (video's target audience), but I still like to learn what I can when it comes to the topic of widgets, and they mentioned Tom was in another one the next day that goes with this one, so I am looking forward to that one as well.
I'll be sure to post a link to the other video if it does go live (it was a demo theater), but in the mean time you can see the slides and demo source code here:

Specifically what I mean is, what I see on the page is this:
My current device is Chrome on Windows 7. Sure, people can click the link to get to the video, but then I'd rather just drop a link in a post. Maybe the add video dialog should include the option to post a link to a video if embedding doesn't work.
Timothy Hales is this being worked on at all? Or is there a workaround? It's embarrassing.
Good to know. Thanks.
