Two images attached. “”HLZ chart” is the basic Holdridge diagram, ie. the means to take an PET ratio and a precipitation value and find the appropriate hexagon. Example: the FCRE has values of about PET=0.3 and P=4500.
The second image is the HLZ’s plotted for Costa Rica – this is the sort of thing I would like to repeat, but in more detail. So the question is, given one ArcGIs layer for PET, and another for precipitation
Question .. has anyone created or seen an interactive where one can provide and address or point to a location interactively on the map to have the HL Zone defined or (2) select the chart and have the HL zones plotted on the map of the zone you pointed on the chart?
