If we wanted to add a cloud AGS machine to add availability but we have an existing local server site, can we add the AWS machine to the site so it load balances with the local machines during normal conditions? We lost internet for most of yesterday which took out not only our internal users of our maps but our external ones as well. With a cloud machine in the site we would at least not go down for external users.
Unfortunately this cannot be done. All the nodes of a site must have access to the same server directories and config-store directories... which means they all must be on the same network.
